Disaster Relief Contributions Information

      This year our State will have the very first State Wide "Disaster Relief" Offering.  Suggested date for the offering is April 22, 2012, or close to the one year anniversary of the tornadoes that did so much damage to our State.  Our Executive Committe for our Association recommended and voted to suggest that this first offereing, be collected and for this first year kept in our Association, for our own Disaster Relief Equipments needs.  We are trying to purchase and equip a Chain Saw Trailer, and some additional Ham Radio Equipment.  We also want to equip and purchase a Feeding unit trailer for our use in and around our Association for future needs.  Please consider what you can give to see us expand our caring and helping ministries in times of Disaster. If you have any questions or need futher explantions please give me a call at 205-620-0736.  
 
      Many have been asking what can we do to help?  Our needs change almost daily, so the best answer is to send monetary funds to our Treasurer, at the "Pleasant Grove Baptist Association", P.O. Box 97, Brookwood, AL 35444-0097.  Designate it in the memo line for use in Disaster Relief and we will then use it to help our communities in the best way possible.  We are a 501 C 3 Non-profit Charitible Organization and your gifts are tax deductible.  We will be happy to supply you with a letter of contribution, if you so desire. Thank you for your consideration.
